Wandelbots NOVA („Product“) is an agnostic robot operating system that enables Customers and Users to plan, build, and operate their own software solutions and robot applications. Wandelbots NOVA creates a space where automation engineers and software developers alike are encouraged to think outside the box when it comes to robotic automation. 

Plan (Digital Twin & Simulation)

Wandelbots NOVA provides an extension into NVIDIA Omniverse Isaac Sim that allows developers to create digital twins of their physical robot and automation environments to simulate new automation projects, test their Software solutions against a Digital Twin, or optimize existing setups.

Build

Wandelbots NOVA allows developers to create programs and end-user focused applications enabling the native use of our Wandelbots NOVA API in Python, our own scripting language Wandelscript and a typescript client. Furthermore, developers get access to the Developer Portal that pools all tools and resources available for developers to work on Wandelbots NOVA.

Operate

Wandelbots NOVA can be deployed in the cloud or downloaded and deployed on industry-standard hardware. It is delivered with system applications (RobotPad & Settings App) that allow for the setup and configuration of the robot and cell environment for operation of the cell setup and as a deployment mechanism for the built apps

User Interface/Beta-status/Updates/Upgrades

User interface, instruction manuals, product documentation and support offered in English language only.

As long as Wandelbots NOVA is in Beta, information about the desired use and written consent by Wandelbots is required before deploying the Product to a production environment.

The Product is currently in Beta status and may exhibit bugs, malfunctions and limitations in functionality. 
Product and updates/upgrades (if any) offered within the sole discretion of Wandelbots and according to Wandelbots instructions provided on a case-by-case basis.

User Account/Technical Requirements 

For using Wandelbots NOVA creating a user account is necessary (via existing Microsoft / GitHub account or creating a new account in Developer Portal). For using Wandelbots NOVA Customer makes sure to fulfill the technical requirements as follows:

  • Stable internet connection. 

  • Wandelbots NOVA can be installed on virtual machines or physical instances that support AlmaLinux. 

  • Processor requirements may apply. ARM processors are not compatible with Wandelbots NOVA. 

  • If Customer wants to use Wandelbots NOVA with physical robots: Robots supported by Wandelbots NOVA

Further technical requirements may apply (e.g. hardware compatibility with Nvidia Omniverse Isaac Sim) and are within the sole discretion of Wandelbots.
